RHF receives BSE donation for quake-hit Syria

Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE) Board of Directors Chairperson Raida Al Alawai presented to the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) the proceeds of the charity auction of art paintings it held recently to support those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

This came as RHF Secretary General Dr Mustafa Al Sayed, also Chief Executive Officer of the National Committee to Support the Victims of the Earthquake in Syria and Turkey, received Al Alawai.

Dr Al Sayed expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to BSE for their generous initiative launched as part of their interaction with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the National Campaign to Support the Victims of the Earthquake in Syria and Turkey, led by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Al Alawai affirmed the great importance the BSE attaches to serving society and participating effectively in various national and social occasions.

She highlighted the effective role played by the RHF to organise the National Campaign to Support the Victims of the Earthquake in Syria and Turkey, noting the positive interaction of Bahraini engineers with the national campaign confirms the role they play in such exceptional humanitarian circumstances, such as disasters and earthquakes.
