Twenty-seven-year-old Bahraini Mohammed Alsarh has been selected as one of the top 10 best podcasters for a training and competition program in the Arab region. The event, which is organized by the Arab Youth Center in Abu Dhabi, specializes in podcast content and techniques.

It includes three phases where the participants need to provide podcast ideas and projects in every phase to win. Out of 1,000 submissions, 100 participants have qualified for the second round and 30 participants for the third round.

At the final stage, the top 10 winners are presenting their podcast in front of Her Excellency Shamma Almazrooai, Minister of Community Development in the UAE, and His Highness Shaikh Rashed Bin Hameed Al Noaimy, president of Ajman municipality.

Alsarh joins the top 10 of this competition and training program, which is held from October to December in the UAE. “It’s a very important program that prepares the youth for the podcast market, especially on a content level."

It aims to spread consciousness in the Arab region through content creation,” said Alsarh in an exclusive interview with The Daily Tribune. Alsarh is now preparing to launch his podcast as soon as possible to spread awareness of mental and neurological health, which can be treated well once you know what to do and how to deal with it.

He is grateful to have the name of Bahrain, reaching 1,000 submissions and participants from 21 countries, to be in the top 10, and he is in a position to achieve more for Bahrain.

“I still remember my first steps in entrepreneur and media programs in Youth City 2030 by the Ministry of Youth. That was the moment of beginning that I kept improving myself from it, and now I get to be honoured to have Her Excellency the Minister of Youth, Mrs Rawan Tawfeeqi, receive me in her office to listen to the story of this achievement, offering her support with words of encouragement and pride to keep going to make this achievement bigger and wider,” he said.

By adding thoughts about youth, Alsarh highlighted that “Bahrain has so many opportunities to grow, develop, and be supported. There is no limit to achieving or reaching something, all you have to do is believe and have the willingness.

Bahrain deserves to be proud of all of you. In the interview, he mentioned the support of the Arab Youth Centre, His Highness Shaikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for all these opportunities, and Minister of Youth Affairs Her Excellency, Mrs Rawan Bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, for having him in her office to listen to the story of achievement.

“I am truly looking to represent my country in international forums and to contribute in the name of my country, to be an ambassador that delivers the message of Bahraini youth to the world,” Alsarh said. In the modern world, encouraging youth participation in the economy is essential to achieving the nation’s long-term objectives in terms of technology, leadership, businesses, socialism, and education.
