In a demonstration of support for the Palestinian people following recent clashes at Jerusalem’s Al Aqsa Mosque, hundreds of people yesterday peacefully gathered at Al Sayha Busaiteen.
The event organised by the Palestinian Support Society in Bahrain was attended by Taha Mohammad Abdul Qadir, the Palestinian ambassador to Bahrain.
According to Omar Aqtash, a 20-year-old Palestinian resident of Bahrain, who spoke to the Daily Tribune, the demonstration was a powerful display of solidarity for Palestine.
Another Palestinian youth living in Bahrain emphasized the need for peace in Palestine, where all Muslims are connected through their worship of God.
Dr Ebrahim Alshaikh, Vice President of the Palestinian Support Society, stated that the gathering was held in support of the people of Alquds and Palestine, who are currently facing aggression and assault at Al Aqsa Mosque.
