Pilot project in schools to impart tolerance
As part of observance of the International Day for Tolerance, Education Minister Majid Al Nuaimi stressed the leadership’s vision to instil the value of tolerance in the young generation through school activities and curriculums.
Implementing the leadership’s directives in this regard, the ministry has launched a pilot project in four secondary schools, which reflects HM the King’s interest in bolstering values of tolerance and loyalty to the homeland among children.
The project will next be taken to kindergartens, where little kids grow up by learning the concept of tolerance and patriotism. He added that the project would be gradually expanded to other schools as well.
