Bahraini student excels in GCC science competitions

Bahraini student Maryam Ameer Saeed won multiple awards in the fields of mathematics and chemistry in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) competitions.
The most recent was the bronze medal won in the first Chemistry Olympiad held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the Arab Education Bureau for the Gulf States. Bahrain recently earned a spot in this year’s Arab Talent Initiative.
Maryam told the local media that she spends a lot of time in the laboratories to train in the implantation of various scientific experiments, out of her passion for this field.
She expresses her gratitude for the role of the Ministry of Education and its schools since the primary stage in instilling and consolidating her love for scientific subjects from childhood, indicating her desire to specialize after her graduation.
