Bahrain-based Filipinos take part in ‘Dialogue of Cultures’ digital art show

Filipinos based in Bahrain and Philippines took part in the Digital Art Exhibition in Dubai. Led by Butch J. Paje, president of International Action Art Philippines, other Filipino artists who showcased their masterpieces were Carlo Rico, Lhanz Ame Cabaraca, Cyril Nacario Estares, Kathrina Ragadi, Edz Calimlim and Mariam Tumulto.

The event, where 200 international artists took part, was organised by the International Action Art Club Unesco of Piraeus and Islands and the Kanvas new media art space Dubai. This international art exhibition with the theme, “Dialogue of Cultures”, was participated in by artists from Bahrain, Greece, Philippines and other countries from around the world.

For the first time, more than 200 artworks were displayed visually in a digital art exhibition, which gave an immersive experience to the public. The innovative approach made this exhibition unique and special.

The Piraeus and Islands Unesco club and the International Action Art are very active in developing actions and events like this, and it involves around three main areas: culture, education and solidarity with fellow human beings.

The exhibition is a social initiative aiming at spreading the message of volunteering, participation and contribution, fostering intercultural dialogue and cooperation, and increasing awareness through art.
