HM King Hamad commends Bahrain and people achievements

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said Bahrain and its people continue to achieve successful milestones and lead in key sectors.

HM the King praised continued cooperation between the executive and legislative branches of government, which represents one of the main pillars of development and modernization in Bahrain.

His Majesty was speaking as he received yesterday at Al Safriya Palace Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam and Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Sahel, their deputies and members of the response committees.

The Speaker and the Shura Council Chairman submitted to HM the King the responses of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council to the keynote speech which was delivered by HM the King at the inauguration of the first legislative session of the sixth legislative term.

They extended their best wishes to HM the King on the last days of Ramadan, wishing His Majesty and the people of Bahrain many happy returns and further progress and prosperity. HM King Hamad praised the content of the responses submitted by the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council, commending constructive initiatives and proposals to develop legislative work.

He stressed Bahrain’s determination to continue its approach of moderation, openness, tolerance and coexistence in order to build bridges between peoples, cultures and cultures and spread peace in the world.

The people of Bahrain respect all religions and other peoples without discrimination, which confirms the distinguished status of the Kingdom and its people since ancient time, said HM the King. He praised the dedicated efforts made by the members of the Council of Representatives and Shura Council, stressing commitment to continue work to further reinforce relations with other countries.
