Court refuses to hear case on noisy rooster
The Court of Urgent Matters yeterday declined to hear a case of a noisy bird, explaining that it did not fall within its scope of speciality.
The case was lodged by a Bahraini woman, who accused her neighbour’s rooster of being a nuisance.
The woman claimed that the rooster was too troublesome that she faced difficulties in her studies for master’s degree as well as sleeping. A settlement was earlier reached outside the courtroom with the neighbour pledging that he would find a solution to the bird’s noise.
