Operating a radio channel requires a combination of business acumen and social responsibility.
This is because, in addition to generating revenue, a successful radio station also plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion and promoting cultural values.
And, if you have what it takes for this task, the Ministry of Information Affairs has an opportunity.
A tender says the ministry wants to hire a company to operate and manage the Arabic Entertainment Radio FM Channel in Bahrain.
The successful bidder will receive a five-year contract to operate the channel 24/7 on 105 MHz.
To be eligible, bidders must have at least three years of experience in radio channel and studio operations, as well as a minimum proposed value of BD10,000 per month for the channel’s five-year operation.
Interested parties must submit their bids by June 7, 2023, along with a BD4,000 bond valid for 180 days.
Tender documents are available for purchase for a fee of BD100.
