HH Shaikha Um Nasser hails royal care for orphans, widows

Her Highness Shaikha Um Nasser, wife of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has lauded the royal care for orphans and widows in the kingdom.
She praised HM the King’s great interest in providing all forms of care and services that would contribute to ensuring decent life for all the beneficiaries of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), as well as developing their personalities to effective competencies in their society.
HH Shaikha Um Nasser also commended the great support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the RHF, paying tribute to HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for his distinguished leadership of the RHF, enabling it to attain local, regional and global achievements.
HH Shaikha Um Nasser made the statements while hosting more than 100 RHF-sponsored children on the occasion of the holy month of Ramandan.
HH Shaikha Um Nasser presented a certificate of thanks and appreciation to the RHF Secretary-General, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed in recognition of his humanitarian efforts, contributing to consolidating the values of social cohesion and solidarity.
She also valued highly the efforts being made by the RHF’s Board of Trustees members and employees for their keenness to implement the royal directives of serving orphans and widows, supporting the needy, and extending help to stricken peoples and countries.
HH Shaikha Um Nasser encouraged orphans to acquire knowledge and strengthen family bonds in order to be good citizens who serve the kingdom, under the leadership of HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as follow the example of HH Shaikh Nasser in attaining successes.
She urged them to be the righteous children of their mothers, who, playing the roles of mothers and fathers at the same time, made all sacrifices to take care of them and ensure them happy life.
RHF Secretary-General extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HM King Hamad, the RHF Honorary President, for HM’s unwavering fatherly care for orphans and widows to ensure their access to all services, praising the support of the government, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Al-Sayed also expressed deepest thanks and appreciation to Her Highness, the mother of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for her interest in hosting and supporting widows and orphans.
He affirmed that HH Shaikha Um Nasser’s support for the RHF is widely appreciated, highlighting her keenness to provide care and services to orphans and widows in order to educate them, train them and refine their personalities, citing HH’s contributions to implementing development projects for orphans, such as the "Um Nasser Kindergarten" and interest in the "Production" project.
Dr. Al-Sayed also expressed sincere thanks to HH Shaikh Nasser for HH’s support for the RHF’s efforts to deliver the best services to orphans, widows and needy groups.
During the ceremony, child Mariam Al-Manaseer read a poem entitled "Um Al-Firsan" (The Mother of Knights), written by Adel Al-Mahmeed.
The event also featured games, competitions and women folk songs.
HH Shaikha Um Nasser presented valuable prizes and gifts to the attendees, which filled the hearts of orphans with joy, and enable them to spend a happy Ramadan evening.
