Demand for Eid staycations in Bahrain soar

As Eid approaches, many people in Bahrain are opting for staycations over international travel because of the rising costs of travel expenses.

Staycations have become increasingly popular due to the pandemic as people had to adapt and plan their vacations locally.

Hotels and resorts in Bahrain are reporting a surge in bookings for Eid, particularly for staycation packages.

Many hotels and resorts are offering special deals and promotions, such as discounts on room rates, complimentary breakfast, and other perks, to attract visitors during the festive season. The surge in demand for staycations during Eid is a welcome boost for the local tourism industry “Staycations have become increasingly popular in Bahrain, particularly during Eid,” says a spokesperson for a leading hotel chain in the country.

“We’ve seen a significant increase in bookings for Eid, as people prefer to stay close to home and explore the local culture and attractions.”

Many hotels and resorts in Bahrain are offering a range of cultural activities and experiences during Eid, which allow visitors to immerse themselves in the local traditions and customs.

These experiences include traditional food, music, dance, henna tattooing, shopping, and falconry, among others.
