Bahrain plays key role in maintaining global peace

Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani underlined the role of the Kingdom in contributing to efforts to maintain national, regional and international peace and security.
This came as Dr Al Zayani chaired a meeting held by the National Committee on the Prohibition of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
He highlighted the efforts and achievements of the committee members since the restructuring of the committee by edict 23 of 2022.
The minister commended the continuous cooperation and coordination among the members to fulfil international obligations.
The National Committee discussed topics on its agenda, in addition to the latest developments related to the prohibition of weapons of mass destruction.
