The High Criminal Court has adjourned the case of two public employees accused of corruption to May 5 to record witness testimony.
Standing accused before the court in the case are a head of the department and a supervisor at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture.
Court files say the pair banded together to forge official documents regarding building construction approvals for accepting bribe.
However, the officials at the National Audit Office, while conducting an annual examination, detected discrepancies and reported that to higher officials.
Reportedly the pair took a bribe from a company to illegally bypass standards set for allowing utility connection to their building.
