Massive kitchen fire hits Hoora mosque

One person sustained burn injuries after a massive fire broke out in a kitchen attached to a prominent mosque in the Hoora area.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital and is undergoing treatment.
The Civil Defence Forces, who reached the scene immediately, doused the fire after spending hours battling the blaze.
Images of the aftermath showed the building in ruins, with charred remains and blackened smoke covering the entire structure.
The fire seemed to have spread throughout the entire vicinity. The extent of damage is not yet ascertained.
Initial investigation indicates a leakage from a gas cylinder in the kitchen as the cause of the fire. An investigation is ongoing.
The Interior Ministry tweeted that competent authorities are present at the location to take necessary legal measures.
