Bahrain, UK keen to boost financial and banking cooperation

Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has highlighted financial and banking cooperation between Bahrain and the UK and ways of furthering joint ties to achieve aspirations and goals.
This came as Shaikh Salman held a meeting with the Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey in London.
The meeting was also attended by Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) Governor Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Economic Development Board (EDB) Chief Executive Officer Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan and Prime Minister’s Office Director-General Hamad Yacoub Al Mahameed.
Shaikh Salman also stressed the importance of exchanging financial and banking expertise. Latest global economic developments also came under the spotlight.
