Bahrain takes part in ‘Space Warriors’ forum

National Space Science Authority (NSSA) Chief Executive Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Al Asiri participated in a forum organised by the American Association of Space Forces, under the title “Space Warriors”.
Colonel Rob Long, Commander of the Delta 30 Space Launch Forces, spoke about important issues about in this important sector. A group of officials and experts, as well as a number of representatives of selected organisations and bodies concerned with the space sector, took part in the event.
Dr Al Asiri said that the forum highlighted the distinguished coordination that exists between the military sector, represented by the space forces, which includes a variety of experiences with the private sector working in the space sector, and demonstrated the positive impact of efforts to develop methods of launching and reusing missiles.
The solutions to reducing costs and increasing the level of security for the various related operations were also discussed.
Bahrain’s participation constituted an important qualitative addition to the commission, especially in the technical and logistical aspects, and also provided an opportunity to learn about the future directions of prominent leaders in the field of space.
