Bahrain, China explore opportunities in education, agriculture, and fisheries

Bahrain and China yesterday mulled the possibility of strengthening collaboration in education, agriculture, fisheries, and other related areas.
Talks were held between the Bahrain Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, Bahrain Polytechnic Chairman Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, and the newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain, Ni Ruchi.
Al Mubarak discussed with the ambassador potential areas of cooperation between Bahrain Polytechnic and Chinese universities, particularly in academic programmes that could benefit both nations.
The two sides also explored ways to leverage China’s expertise in these sectors. Ruchi praised Bahrain’s advancements in various fields and expressed China’s willingness to offer its expertise in agriculture and marine resources.
Separately, Ruchi held talks with Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, to explore partnership opportunities in youth programmes that could benefit both countries.
