Expansion works of the Kuwait Health Centre in Karzakkan have reached 46% completion and are proceeding at an excellent pace, said a top Works Ministry official.

According to Maryam Abdullah Amin, Assistant Undersecretary for Construction and Maintenance Projects at the Ministry of Works, the project’s foundation and structural works have been completed.

Works are currently progressing to complete the renovation, development, and associated electromechanical works.

Upon completion, the facility will have two additional buildings, new nursing offices, a prayer room, patient waiting room, pregnant and child care rooms, children’s examination rooms, and other facilities.

The project follows Bahrain’s green policy and energy consumption guidelines to ensure a lesser impact on the environment and natural resources. The tender board had awarded the project to Bukhawah Contracting and Trade Group.
