Prime Minister’s Press Award gets 319 entries in four categories

The 7th edition of the Prime Minister’s Press Award received 319 submissions across four categories, said Dr Ramzan bin Abdulla Alnoaimi, the Minister of Information.
The nomination window has since closed, with 38 opinion columns, 41 journalistic investigations, 107 press interviews, and 33 press photos being submitted for consideration.
A committee comprising of experts and specialists will evaluate the works, and the winners will be announced in a transparent manner, based on the criteria that govern the award.
“The works received this year are distinguished by their high levels and reflect the development achieved by the Bahraini press,” the minister said.
