HM King Hamad congratulates King Charles III, hails close ties

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday congratulated King Charles III after witnessing the 1,000 years old tradition alongside world leaders in Westminster Abbey.

HM King wished Charles III good health, happiness and continued success in leading the United Kingdom towards further progress, development and achievement- the foundation of which was laid by Queen Elizabeth II.

HM King affirmed that Bahrain’s participation in the historic and solemn event embodies the bonds of the close ties and unite the two royal families and two friendly countries.

Bahrain’s participation, HM King said, also solidifies the strategic bilateral relations and partnership that dates back more than 200 years.

His Majesty said Bahrain is determined to continue working with King Charles III to support and develop these ties in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and friendly people.

King Charles III thanked HM King for attending the ceremony and his wishes, stressing the depth of the close historical ties between the two kingdoms.

Charles III wished HM King Hamad abundant health and wellness, and the People of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

HM King and HRH Prince Salman had also participated in a reception hosted on the eve of coronation at Buckingham Palace.
