Barbar Model Garden project reaches 98% completion

The construction works of Barbar Model Garden are nearly finished, with the project currently at 98% completion, said Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture.
The BD434,000 project is part of an integrated recreational project for the people of Barbar to enhance the green cover and promote a healthy lifestyle.
The minister was holding a tour of the project site with the Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs, Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Director General of the Municipality of the Northern Region, The head of the council, Zeina Jassim, and ministry officials.
The project in the Northern Governorate, in Block 526, has a total area of 8484.5 square meters. It has 915 square meters of children’s play area,693 square meters of family area, 2,794 meters of green area, 356 trees, car parks and other facilities, especially for people of determination.
