The Tree of Life Charity Society, a charity for orphans, is commemorating its 11th year since its founding in 2012.
The organization takes pride in sustaining the needs of over 880 orphans, 450 widows, and 1,300 individuals from needy families registered within the charity’s roster.
The initiatives are differentiated based on individual needs, such as by coordinating unique educational, entertainment, and cultural programs and activities regularly up until they reach adulthood. Every month, the charity provides food for needy families alongside other needs being fulfilled.
The Tree of Life founder, Mr. Khalil Al Dailami, told The Daily Tribune: “The activities for orphans we organized are Umrah vacations, sporting events, and programs that encourage knowledge and wellbeing.
“Some orphans are supported in their weaker subjects at school, while others are rewarded with merits and achievements, including monetary ones, for achieving high scores in their academics.
“Recently, we have launched a new book club for learning and sharing insights from monthly readings, many have registered to join, and the door will always be open for newcomers to our community.”
“Our next initiative revolves around building a new headquarters that will facilitate special services for orphans, including commercial shops, among other plans, all in the name of doing good.
“We thank Allah for our countless blessings, and we remain highly appreciative for all the support we can gain from generous donors and volunteers so that we can continue to support those in need on an ongoing basis,” he said.
