HRH Prince Salman lauds Bahrain’s global standings, commitment to Islamic values

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday thanked the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for Bahrain continuing to uphold its strong global standings.

In this regard, His Royal Highness commended Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to protecting the Islamic religion and its fundamental values in line with the National Action Charter and the Constitution.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister was speaking during a meeting with Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, the Parliament Speaker and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, the Chairman of the Shura Council, at Riffa palace.

HRH CP, PM further noted the deep-rooted cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities and emphasised the importance of continuing to implement plans, initiatives, and strategies to further economic progress and development.  

The current and forthcoming development phase requires Team Bahrain’s comprehensive efforts to implement the 2023- 2026 Government Programme, said Prince Salman.  For their part, Al-Musallam and Al Saleh thanked HRH’s commitment to fostering cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities to ensure progress and prosperity for the Kingdom and its citizens.  

The Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, were present.
