His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, directed the Ministry of Finance and National Economy to disburse the salaries of all government sector employees on May 21. The move aims to reduce the timeframe between payments due to the early payment of last month's salaries due to Eid and assist government employees in meeting living costs.

HRH Prince Salman also directed the concerned government authority to immediately accept 236 eligible retirement pension applications in the Khatwa Home Projects Program, provided the government pays the additional contributions to ensure the pension fund is not affected.

His Royal Highness was chairing the weekly cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace. Meanwhile, he also directed the formation of a government committee to review 69 employee cases in the Khatwa Program for Home Projects and verify that they meet the criteria for a retirement pension.
