Storming of Qatar Embassy flagrant violation: Bahrain

Bahrain issued a strong condemnation yesterday regarding the storming and looting of the Qatari embassy in Khartoum.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement describing the incident as a flagrant violation of international agreements and norms that prohibit the desecration of diplomatic buildings and missions.
The ministry reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering position, urging an immediate halt to all acts of violence and vandalism in Sudan.
It emphasised the importance of ensuring comprehensive protection for diplomatic missions and civilian facilities, as well as the urgent need to identify and bring the perpetrators of the attack to justice.
Bahrain also called upon all parties in Sudan to refrain from further escalation and instead engage in peaceful dialogue and negotiations to resolve the ongoing crisis.
