Shura Council praises HM King peace visions

The keynote speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the 32nd Arab Summit was comprehensive and all-inclusive, and reflects the royal noble visions on ways to broaden the paths of joint Arab action, and achieve the interests of Arab countries and their people.

This was emphasised by Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh. The event was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In a statement read by the Shura Council head, while the 20th meeting of the first session of the Sixth Legislative Term, the Council expressed utmost appreciation and praise of the values and visions embedded in the royal address, confirming the kingdom’s re solve to back efforts to bolster intra-Arab cooperation and coordination to achieve Arab peoples’ aspirations for more progress and prosperity.

Al Saleh affirmed that the fair and comprehensive peace approach adopted by Bahrain, under HM the King’s leadership, is the roadmap for addressing various issues, and building strategic international relations based on mutual respect, coexistence and peace.

The Council said that HM King Hamad’s participation in the “Jeddah Summit” has reflected the kingdom’s positive initiatives, as well as constant support for all efforts aimed at building on the achievements and successes of the joint Arab action.

In its statement, the Shura Council expressed pride in the kingdom’s hosting of the next pan-Arab summit, noting the 2024 Arab Summit will add a new milestone to the joint Arab action process.

The Council also commended the noble and tremendous efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saudi, and thanks to the interest of Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to consolidate Arab unity, host Arab and Islamic meetings at all levels, as well as adopt and implement effective humanitarian initiatives. In this regard, the Council praises Saudi Arabia’s success[1]ful organisation of the 32nd Arab Summit in Jeddah.
