The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) has made a charitable donation of $100,000 (BD37,631) to Sudan, where thousands are left homeless and in dire need of humanitarian aid.
As the Sudanese people continue to live in dire circumstances, it is essential that countries come together to help them.
Not only is the BRCS taking an important initiative in contributing financial assistance to the Sudanese people, it is also coordinating with countless private charity societies in the Kingdom to take proactive measures in helping and assisting them.
The BRCS Secretary General Mubarak Al Hadi said that making this donation comes in solidarity with the current difficult circumstances faced by the people of Sudan, and in response to their urgent need.
There is an urgent need for shelter, clothing, food, medicine, and safe drinking water, as the Sudanese people continue to suffer through this humanitarian crisis.
The donation made by the BRCS will assist in providing the needy Sudanese people with basic necessities and alleviating stress during this difficult time.
