Bahrain ensures protection of child rights

Bahrain is committed to protecting child rights stipulated in the constitution. Sahar Rashid Al Mannae, Undersecretary at the Social Development Ministry, made the statement as she addressed a webinar on preventing gross violations against children in armed conflicts.
The session was chaired by Qatar as part of the 42nd session of the Arab League social affairs minister’s council which was held remotely with the participation of the Arab League and specialised international organisations.
Al Mannae stressed Bahrain’s efforts to pass laws and legislations to ensure children a secure and a safe environment for their upbringing.
