PM praises Filipinos’ role in the progress boom
Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received Special Envoy of Philippines President to the GCC countries Dr. Amable Aguiluz at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday, and discussed with him ways to boost relations between the two friendly countries in various fields.
Dr. Amable Aguiluz conveyed to HRH Premier greetings from the Philippines President Benigno Aquino III, and wishes of abundant good health to him and of further progress and prosperity to the kingdom.
HRH the Prime Minister lauded the advanced level of bilateral relations, which, he said, reflected positively on the volume of joint cooperation, highlighting the existing understanding towards many regional and international issues. HRH the Premier affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to continue adopting initiatives that strengthen cooperation with the Philippines, in light of the two countries’ outstanding relations and their shared desire to open up wider horizons of cooperation between them.
HRH Premier said that the Kingdom of Bahrain valued highly the contributions of the Filipino community to the progress boom it is witnessing, praising the expertise and competence of the members of this community.
Aguiluz praised the care and interest allocated by the Government of Bahrain and officials to the Filipino expatriate community in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
