Bahrain keen to develop tourism for economic growth

Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has emphasised the keenness Bahrain attaches to the development of tourism, and various promising sectors, in the interest of promoting sustainable economic growth.
Shaikh Salman made the statement as he received yesterday the Saudi Minister of Tourism and Chairman of board of directors for the Saudi Fund for Development, Ahmed Al Khateeb.
Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi and Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), were present.
The Finance Minister affirmed the depth of historical relations between the two kingdoms, and the solid foundations on which they are based for integration and joint work in various fields.
He noted that these relations are supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He stressed the keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to enhance cooperation and boost joint work that brings prosperity and development for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
