Bahrain hails growing ties with Brunei

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday commended the growing relationship between Bahrain and Brunei Darussalam as offering promising opportunities for future development for both countries and their people.
During talks yesterday with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam, the Crown Prince also termed the official meeting between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Sultan Bolkiah as significant to future development.
The Crown Prince also emphasised the visit of Sultan Bolkiah to the Kingdom as a testament to the strong bond between the two nations.
In this regard, HRH described the signed agreements between Bahrain and Brunei as a means to advance bilateral ties and create mutually beneficial investment opportunities.
Discussions also encompassed various areas of common interest and explored avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation.
The meeting was in the presence of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Adviser, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy.
Following the meeting, HRH Prince Salman held a dinner banquet in honour of Sultan Bolkiah.
The Sultan of Brunei Darussalam expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince for his dedication to advancing bilateral relations and fostering further cooperation between the two nations.
