Royal praise for solid Bahrain, Brunei military cooperation

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, welcomed His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, in one of the edifices of the Bahraini Armed Forces, hailing solid fraternal relations, particularly joint military and security cooperation between the two countries.

This came as HM the King and HM Sultan Bolkiah yesterday paid a visit to the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Royal Guard, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Mateen.

They were received by the BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander Staff Colonel HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and other senior officials.

HM King Hamad appreciated the fruitful efforts made by Lt-Gen. HH Shaikh Nasser and HRH Prince Abdul Mateen. He also commended the participation of Staff Colonel HH Shaikh Khalid and HRH Prince Abdul Mateen in the military exercise which was conducted by the Royal Guard affiliates.
