Royal Order restructures youth and sports council

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday issued Royal Order (27) of 2023, restructuring the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS).

Chaired by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the SCYS shall comprise the following members who will serve for a renewable four-year term:

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa (First Deputy Chairman); Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa (Second Deputy Chairman); His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa; Minister of Finance and National Economy; Minister of Labour; SCYS Secretary-General; Minister of Health; Minister of Information; Minister of Youth Affairs; Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority; CEO of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen); President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities; Dr. Mariam Hassan El-Sayed Mustafa; Shaikh Turki bin Duaij Al Khalifa; Abdulhakeem Yacoob Al-Khayyat; Hisham Ahmed AlRayes; Mohammed Abed Ali Mohammed Al-A’ali; Fajer Saleh Al Pachachi; and Tala Abdulrahman Fakhro.

NAO Assistant Undersecretary

HM King Hamad also issued Royal Order (28) of 2023, appointing an Assistant Undersecretary at the National Audit Office (NAO), based on the nomination of NAO President. Under the order, Basma Abdulrahman Mohammed AlAhmed was appointed as an Assistant Undersecretary at the NAO.
