IFAS to stage ‘AnuRaGa’ Classical & Beyond musical show

The Indian Fine Arts Society (IFAS) is a non-profit organisation and also a registered body that has been promoting classical performing arts in this land for over four decades.
Its patron, H.E. Shri. Piyush Srivastava, Ambassador of India to Bahrain, is a great supporter and encourages all to promote fine arts and music in this beautiful country. This oldest organisation is sailing into its 50 glorious years, which have been made possible only with immense support and patronage throughout these years.
To begin the celebrations of 50 years (the Golden Jubilee) of creativity, culture, and community bonding through music and art, IFAS is delighted to deliver this month a mega musical programme titled "AnuRaGa" Classical & Beyond, a unique and one-of-a-kind concert presented by the stars of Carnatic music Ranjani and Gayatri, popularly known as the RaGa sisters.
The artists will be accompanied by eminent artists Mr. Vittal Rangan on the violin, Mr. Sai Giridhar on the mridangam, and Mr. S. Krishna on the ghatam.
They will present this musical treat with a wide selection of songs from the rich and diverse musical heritage of India, from Saint Thyagaraja to Tukaram, Muthuswami Dikishitar to Meera Bhai, and Shyama Shastri to Surdas, spanning across several languages from North and South India in a glorious celebration of Indian classical music.
This event is scheduled to be held from 7 p.m. onwards on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Bahrain. The ticket price for the concert is inclusive of a light dinner on the concert day.
This will be followed by an interactive session with the artists on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Ramee Grande, Seef, from 10.30 a.m.
