Bahrainouna promotes ‘national values, stability and prosperity’

Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi has praised the goal of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship (Bahrainouna) to enrich national values.

Al Sairafi also affirmed that the Bahrainouna represents a national platform to promote stability and prosperity in Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, and the Prime Minister.

She was speaking during the joint meeting between the Ministry of Tourism, Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), and the Executive Office of Bahrainouna, which is supported by Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, who is also Chairman of the National Plan Implementation Follow-up Committee.

While discussing joint tourism initiatives, the three sides reviewed the promotion of the Hawar Islands and introduced Bahrain’s tourism activities through the Bahrain Calendar and the tourism app.

Al Sairafi asserted that these initiatives and programmes fall within the objectives of Bahrainouna, which affirm the preservation of the authentic values, customs, and traditions of the Bahraini society, as well as consolidating the principles of national identity, loyalty, tolerance, and pride in our Arab and Islamic heritage, which are essential components of the Bahraini national identity.

The minister affirmed the importance of cooperation between the government and the private sector in achieving comprehensive development goals and promoting the values of national identity.
