Jaffari Endowments Council Chairman Yousef bin Saleh Al Saleh yesterday reopened Hoora Cemetery Mosque in Manama, which was renovated in record time after a big fire. The reopening was attended by Jaffari Endowments Council members and Mohammed Jaffar Ali Al-Hussaini, Director of the Jaffari Endowments Directorate.

Al Saleh highlighted the support afforded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the development of places of worship in Bahrain.

He noted that this project was in line with HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s directives to restore and develop mosques across Bahrain.

The chairman voiced his appreciation for the efforts of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), led by President Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and the Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister, led by Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, to implement the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to inaugurate, restore, and develop 30 mosques under the Sunni and Jaffari Endowments across Bahrain.

Al-Hussaini affirmed that the directorate is keen on providing help, care, and support to the places of worship. He praised the follow-up of the Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry and the directives of the Jaffari Endowments Council.
