Jaffar Pharmacy reported that all forms of Panadol are available in multiple quantities in various Bahraini pharmacies, dismissing reports of shortage.
In a statement to our sister publication Al Ayam, the approved local agency that imports various versions of the drug for cold treatment stated that they provided more than 40,000 packs of Panadol Night, 34,000 packs of Panadol Cold and Flu, and more than 40,000 additional goods.
It was previously stated that Panadol Advance (blue) was out of supply in Bahrain owing to a shortage of supplies from the manufacturer. "There were many rumours about a shortage in some pharmacies," the drugstore stated.
This was because these pharmacies did not request Panadol supplies from the company in question. "Most pharmacies have all varieties of Panadol, and we also guarantee our constant readiness to supply any pharmacy with all sorts of the pendulum."
The pharmacy stated that they are dedicated to the National Authority for Regulating Professions and Health Services regulations, which mandate the availability of stock for three months.
"There may be a shortage of medicine; however, that is due to the large demand according to the season or even delays in the supply chain." At the moment, there is no difficulty with delivering Panadol kinds, with distributing pharmacies contacting the agent to obtain any types required, Jaffar Pharmacy added.
