The newly inaugurated Suhail housing project is generating significant interest among Bahrainis, with 30% of its units already being purchased. This landmark project, inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, marks the first implementation of the Government Land Development Programme.

According to the Housing and Urban Planning Ministry, citizens booked the housing units through the dedicated "Suhail" pavilion on the first day of the Housing Finance Exhibition, which began on Thursday and continues until the 24th of this month.

The ministry further stated that those who have reserved their units will need to complete the purchase procedures within the next few days. The value of these units does not exceed BD 99,000. On the exhibition’s opening day, over 2,000 citizens visited the pavilion to get informed about the offerings of various real estate development companies, including units, flats, and residential areas.

Located in the Al-Lawzi suburb, the Suhail project consists of 132 units, each featuring four bedrooms, a majlis, a living and dining hall, a kitchen, toilets, and a garden. The units include an internal garage capable of accommodating two cars and an additional external parking lot.

The project is near essential community facilities such as schools and shops. Notably, the project units have spacious internal areas that allow for future expansion possibilities.

The Housing and Urban Development Minister, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, had termed "Suhail" as one of the housing projects that offer units that match the value of the financing provided by the Ministry.
