Bahrain King, UAE President call for boosting ties and joint action

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President, yesterday stressed the need for further expanding bilateral ties and joint action in support of the development initiatives of both Kingdoms.

During a meeting in Abu Dhabi, HM King Hamad and Shaikh Mohammed underscored the importance of supporting joint action across all areas to accelerate development and fulfil the aspiration of the people of both countries.

Discussions further revolved around various topics of mutual interest, and a shared commitment to continued consultations on key matters was reaffirmed.

King Hamad also expressed his appreciation for the strong ties between Bahrain and the UAE, highlighting their exceptional model characterised by brotherhood, shared visions, common positions, and a united destiny.

The gathering was attended by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Staff Colonel HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

UAE Deputy President, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidency Court Minister HH Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince HH Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Shaikh Dheyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Special Affairs Advisor to the Presidency Court HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan were present.
