Boosting Bahraini-French health partnership

Bahrain and France discussed a number of health cooperation projects, particularly the medical training programme.
This came as Government Hospitals Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, received yesterday a delegation from the French Embassy in the Kingdom, led by Emmanuel Mayer, the First Counsellor of the Embassy, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between Bahrain’s government hospitals and the health sector in France.
Dr. Al Ansari affirmed the depth of the long-standing Bahraini-French relations. He stressed the importance of strengthening fruitful cooperation between the two countries, especially regarding medical training, field visits, high-level training of Bahraini doctors in France, and exchange of medical expertise.
