BRAVE CF 72, which goes down today, in Bahrain, is full of special stories. From a wrestling legend and two-time amateur world champion making his debut to a world title fight between two of the top Featherweights in the world.

But one of those stories could very well stand out from the pack: the story of Mohsen Mohammedseifi. A KO artist in the cage, Mohsen’s combat sports career began way earlier than his MMA run.

He is one of the most legendary Wushu Sanda fighters in the history of the sport. A five-time world champion, with one silver medal, his achievements are only matched by the fact that he did it all while studying for a PhD and contributing to his city as a youth and sports department employee.

The series of victories and discipline to achieve such heights have led BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid to compare Mohsen to Cristiano Ronaldo.

‘’When you face Mohsen Mohammedseifi you’re facing the Cristiano Ronaldo of Wushu, that’s what it is. When you look at BRAVE CF 72, you have great athletes and one of the special fighters we have is Mohsen. You’re looking at a guy who’s a five-time wushu sanda world champion, three-time Asian Games gold medalist, but he’s also a leader. He was a captain of the Iran national team, he’s working for his city’s youth and sports department, he has a PhD in Physical Education, and the discipline required to excel in both those fields is something that’s inspiring. And he’s definitely inspiring the next generation. So, he’s a serial winner and his discipline is unmatched. He’s the Cristiano Ronaldo of Wushu Sanda’’.

At BRAVE CF 72, Mohsen Mohammedseifi takes on Noor El Islam in the second bout of the evening and believes he should already be considered for a title shot at Lightweight should he come out a winner. As winners go, there’s no doubting Mohammedseifi.
