The ambassadors in Bahrain offered best wishes to the Kingdom by participating in a special conversation about holidays with Ashen Tharaka of The Daily Tribune.
“On behalf of the Embassy of the United States of America in Bahrain, I would like to wish the people and government of the Kingdom of Bahrain Eid Mubarak and a joyous celebration of Eid al-Adha. I would also like to congratulate all those performing the Hajj this year.
On this holy occasion, Muslims in Bahrain, the United States, and around the world demonstrate their commitment to honoring families and extending compassion to the less fortunate. This is a lesson we all can learn from.” - H.E. Steven C. Bondy, US Ambassador to Bahrain “On this happy occasion, I’d like to extend my warm wishes to all my friends in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing them abundant health and happiness.
I also wish all Muslims in Mecca a blessed pilgrimage. May these special days bring the Kingdom of Bahrain more prosperity and progress. On behalf of the British Embassy’s staff and on my own behalf, I wish you all a happy and peaceful Eid. Eid Mubarak!” - Roderick Drummond, British Ambassador to Bahrain “It’s a great pleasure for me to congratulate you on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, the Feast of Sacrifice.
This second most important holy day in Islam embodies all that we value, praise and try to nurture in people in terms of high spiritual and moral qualities such as generosity, brotherhood and readiness to support those in need.
On this holiday, people celebrate cohesion and unity, as they are among the most important historical pillars underpinning human society. Our era is characterized by the proliferation of social phenomena that sow division in our ranks, tear the social fabric, isolate people and undermine our communities.
In circumstances like these, adherence to ancestral customs and traditional virtues is becoming more and more important day by day.
Your performance of the Eid rituals contributes to the consolidation of the brotherly ties among people and proves that humanity is capable of overcoming those negative tendencies and finding appropriate solutions aimed at reaching the balance and harmony between the needs of the age and ancient traditions.” - H.E. Dr. Alexey Skosyrev, Russian Ambassador to Bahrain “On the occasion of Eid Al Adha, I would like to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to H.M. King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, H.R.H. Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and all Bahraini people on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Bahrain and me!
Eid Al-Adha is one of the most important festivals in the Islamic calendar and is celebrated by Muslims from all around the world including China by participating in prayers, visiting friends and family, and sharing delicious food with the needy, demonstrating the principle of solidarity, charity and sacrifice.
This principle is not only similar to ‘a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind’ proposed by China, but also always implemented in the friendly exchanges between China and Bahrain. China is willing to work with Bahrain to carry forward traditional friendship, expand practical cooperation, enrich people-to-people exchanges and continue to write new chapters in China-Bahrain relations!” - H.E. Mr. Ni Ruchi, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China “Eid Al Adha is a fruitful period when sharing and solidarity reach a peak, particularly through the worship of sacrifice.
I, on this occasion, remember our over 50 thousand citizens who lost their lives in the Disaster of the Century, and wish patience to their families. When our hearts are wounded due to the February 6 earthquakes, Eid Al Adha will further strengthen the climate of brotherhood among our citizens as well as sisterly countries like Bahrain who stood by the Turkish nation at those challenging times.
The solid foundation of the relations between Türkey and Bahrain will continue to strengthen as our leaderships and nations are decisive to achieve common goals which are defined by shared values and the principles of mutual interest. I also would like to wish a joyful holiday to our Bahraini friends who spend their Eid in Türkiye.
I believe this summer, with more destinations and daily flights, we shall host more of our Bahraini sisters and brothers in Türkiye.” - H.E. Esin Çakıl, Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain “On the auspicious and blessed occasion of Eid Al Adha, my wife and I and together with all my fellow Malaysians residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishes to extend our heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to H.M. King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.R.H Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, members of the royal family, leadership of Bahrain and all Bahrainis.
May this joyous celebration bring abundance of blessings, peace, and prosperity to your reign and the people of your nation. Your Majesty’s unwavering commitment to peace, justice, and progress serves as a beacon of inspiration to us all.” - H.E Shazryll Zahiran, Malaysian Ambassador to Bahrain “I have the honour to convey the warmest wishes to all the friendly people in the Kingdom of Bahrain on the blessed occasion of Eid Al Adha.
This is yet another special occasion to reflect on the values of cooperation and compassion, solidarity and spiritual enlightenment. The friendship between Nepal and Bahrain continues to grow. Happy Eid Al Adha. Eid Mubarak.” - H.E. Tirtha Raj Wagle, Nepal Ambassador to Bahrain.
