Bahrain has been granted the best office for pilgrims’ affairs award for garnering the highest satisfaction rate of pilgrims during the just concluded Hajj season.
This recognition was part of the "Labbaytum" Award given out by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia.
Nawaf bin Mohammad Al Maawda, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, emphasised that this accolade highlights the utmost importance placed on pilgrims' well-being, a priority championed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The minister also acknowledged the invaluable support rendered to the committee by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The announcement came during the closing ceremony organised by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which aimed to recognise the outstanding efforts of both government and private sectors in successfully executing this year's Hajj season.
Justice Minister Al Maawda affirmed that this achievement is a testament to the dedication of all the committees within Bahrain's Hajj mission, led by Shaikh Adnan bin Abdullah Al Qattan.
