Hidd sewerage scheme enters construction phase

A proposed sewerage scheme in Hidd has advanced to the construction phase, according to the Tender board documents.
The project, according to Works Ministry, will benefit 144 properties located in blocks 109 and 113 of Hidd.
The Tender Board has awarded to Arad Construction, with a contract value of BD794,733.173.
The tender documents revealed that the project attracted five bids, ranging from BHD 837,550.809 to BHD 1,270,940.038.
Among the competing bidders were Abdulhadi Alafoo, Jalal Al Ali & Sons, A Karim Al Jahromi contracting, and Santy Excavation & Construction Company.
The scope of work encompasses the establishment of sewer main pipelines, lateral lines, and other related activities.
