Bahrain Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs: 04 July 2023

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, The Rt Hon James Cleverly MP.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s official visit to the UK.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasised the deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, adding the 200-year relationship is one of collaboration and coordination.

His Royal Highness noted the Kingdom’s commitment to advancing the bilateral partnership, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of continuing to bolster joint cooperation to create quality opportunities that benefit both countries and their peoples.

During the meeting, regional and global issues of common interest and developments were also discussed.
