Arab honour for HM the King

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has been chosen by the Arab Creators Union (ACU) as the Best Arab National Personality for 2015, the Middle East News Agency and a number of Egyptian newspapers reported yesterday.
Radio figure and ACU President Ahmed Nour said the union's specialised committee, which comprises an elite of media professionals headed by former Egyptian Radio and Television Union Dr. Sami Sherif, had unanimously chosen HM the King as the Best Arab National Personality for 2015 and bestowed on him the ACU Oscar and the Creativity Excellence Medal in tribute to his efforts in serving the Arab community.
The ACU President revealed that choosing HM the King for the honour was well-thought of and very accurate in tribute to his influential role in the Arab arena, support to the cultural and artistic fields and solidarity with Egypt in its efforts to regain peace and stability.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) has sent a cable of congratulations to the King for his achievement.
