A Jordanian businesswoman based in Bahrain has made it to the 20 Women Behind Middle Eastern Tech Brands 2023 list published by Forbes Middle East on Thursday. Dina Sam’an is the founder and managing director of CoinMENA, a fast-growing crypto exchange that is based at the World Trade Centre in Manama.
CoinMENA is licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a crypto asset service provider and describes itself as the provider of the easiest, safest, and fastest way to buy and sell cryptocurrency.
A pioneer in the field of crypto assets in the Middle East, Dina had made it to the Forbes 30 under 30 list earlier. Responding to the news, Dina said on social media that she is honoured and grateful to be recognized alongside the remarkable women who are shaping the future of technology in the Middle East while defying stereotypes.
"My hope is that by highlighting the achievements of women in tech, we can inspire the next generation of leaders and innovators. I firmly believe that success in the workplace knows no gender boundaries, and with the right mindset and work ethic, anything is possible," she wrote on social media while thanking Forbes Middle East for shining the spotlight on the accomplishments of women in the tech industry and for emphasizing their invaluable contributions.
