Bahrain.bh, the national portal of Bahrain, is gearing up to fortify its position on the global stage by elevating its standards and further enhancing its digital offerings.
According to the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), the portal, which underwent design and layout upgrades recently, now needs further quality improvements, for they are crucial to boosting Bahrain’s ranking in the United Nations eGovernment report.
The primary objective is to enhance the content and align it with international standards. iGA has launched a tender seeking the services of a professional and specialised media agency.
The tender says the Communication and Marketing Department is actively seeking a qualified agency capable of delivering top-notch content creation, editorial, and translation services not only for the National Portal but also for other essential channels provided by iGA to the general public.
The move aims at delivering a superior digital experience for its citizens and visitors, solidifying Bahrain’s position as a global leader in the field of eGovernment. The selected agency will be required to possess a comprehensive understanding of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its various eServices offered to citizens, residents, and visitors.
The content produced should adhere to UN and international standards, while effectively promoting public awareness of the available eServices through the national portal and other eChannels.
By investing in the enhancement of its digital content, Bahrain is taking significant strides towards continuous improvement, broader public engagement, and the successful marketing of its eServices.
