Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fadhl Al-Buainain yesterday received the third semi-annual periodic report of the Public Prosecution's initiative - Social Welfare (Care). The report was presented to Dr. Al-Buainain by Fahd Al-Rumaihi, Advocate of the Family and Child Prosecution, who serves as the Director of the Public Prosecution's Initiative for Social Welfare (Care).
The report highlights that since the beginning of this year, the initiative has addressed a total of 52 cases involving children, women, and men. It outlines the achieved results and the comprehensive range of educational, health, psychological, social, and developmental care services provided.
The "Care" programme, initiated by Dr. Al-Buainain in 2021, aims to address social, economic, or psychological crimes. It focuses on identifying necessary remedies and implementing follow-up care and protection measures to promote social justice and wellbeing.
