Bahrain granted SCO dialogue partner status

Bahrain has been granted the status of a dialogue partner within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), marking a significant milestone for the Kingdom.
The memorandum of understanding formalising this partnership was signed by Bahrain’s Ambassador to China, Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Mohammed Adnan Sheikho, and SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming. Representatives from SCO permanent member countries were present to witness the signing ceremony.
Dr. Sheikho expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and PrimeMinister,r for transforming Bahrain into a global hub
Highlighting Bahrain’s sound policies, Dr. Sheikho emphasised their focus on fostering cooperation, promoting friendly relations among nations, and achieving comprehensive sustainable development.
As Bahrain assumes the position of a dialogue partner, he extended heartfelt congratulations to the wise leadership of the Kingdom for their continuous successes in enhancing Bahrain’s international standing.
